Alhaurin el Grande Information
Alhaurin el Grande is situated in the Malaga province of Andalucia, just 19 kms inland of the coast, at the foot of the northern slopes of the Mijas Mountains with its pine tree forests. All areas of Alhaurin el Grande offer wonderful views over the Guadalhorce Valley.
This is an area particularly rich in fruit and vegetable
patches and has many palm tree and plant growers that supply
plants for the whole of the Malaga area.
As well as
having an interesting past it is a thriving, lively and still
traditional village today with local festivals, religious
events, weekly market, a good range of restaurants and bars.
