El Chorro
A drive of about three quarters of an hour brings you to El Chorro Gorge and the lakes, which are set in a National Park.
Drive around the lakes and picnic on the banks - there are ample opportunities to stop and take in the views as even in high season it is never crowded.
There is a good choice of reasonably priced restaurants in
the area to enjoy a bite for lunch.
