Juans Bar

Many guests ask us for the nearest place to eat, they also usually want a traditional 'Spanish place'. The answer we say to everyone is Juans Bar, however as you can see from the photo there is no sign or clue at the entrance that this is either a bar or a restaurant .... it just looks like a stables!

If you walk through the gateway, past the horse stables and look to your left you will see the patio area and doors to the bar.

Happy Holidays in 2012

In our first newsletter of 2012 we have a couple of announcements:-

First of all El Corcho Villa is having an upgrade, but the good news is the weekly rates are staying the same! So from March 2012 El Corcho will have a luxury Kingsize bed in the main en-suite bedroom and in the lounge a music system with iPod docking and a 32 inch LED Flat screen HD TV.

Alhaurin Golf Course on the 23rd December 2011

La Alegria Restaurante

A couple of weeks ago, we enjoyed a lovely evening out with our good friends Jean and Jim. We chose to visit La Alegria, situated on C/ Gerald Brenan, we sat inside the beautifully decorated restaurant (although on a warmer evening we would always choose a table outside and watch the world go by). Restaurante La Alegria offer a "Menu del Dia", at lunch or dinnertime, three courses for just 12,50€

We are often asked about somewhere to go to enjoy the local tapas - we always say to try any
of the bars and restaurants in Alhaurin el Grande as they all offer a good selection of tapas.
