Ferias and festivals near Alhaurin el Grande

Each week during the summer a fair or "feria" is held in each of the towns and villages in the region, with the Malaga Feria in August being one of the biggest fairs in Europe. These fairs are a great way to experience a true Spanish celebration during your stay at our holiday villa and apartments in Alhaurin el Grande.

The Easter or "Semana Santa" parades are held in the week running up to Easter weekend and can be seen in the villages as well as a spectacular parade in Malaga. There are village celebrations on New Years Eve which are held in each village, with Alhaurin el Grande having dancing, Cava and grapes in the main square, Coin has a lively fancy dress parade through the town.
