Granada
Granada is situated in the foothills of the Sierra Nevada just one and a half hours from Alhaurin el Grande. Places to visit here include the Alhambra, the fortified palace of the Nasrid kings, Generalife with its beautiful gardens, the gypsy Caves of Sacromonte, Albaican district and much more.
The Sierra Nevada with its snow capped mountains, skiing, husky rides, cable cars and mountain village are a fun day out. You can hire all your skiing equipment, right down to gloves, at the bottom of the slopes.
